Kubota’s new hydraulic six in one blade can be angled right and
left, and now, tilted as well. This new blade enables six different
positions: neutral, float-up, left-end-up, right-end-up, left-end
forward and right-end forward. This feature makes leveling and
backfilling work incredibly easy. Now operators can be even more
productive on inclines and uneven terrain.
The hydraulic six in
one blade has a full ten degrees of tilt, making it ideal for
landscaping on slopes and swells. Contractors will find this diverse
blade perfect for shaping foundations and finish work. When compared to
the Komatsu PC40MR-2 it out-performs in traction force, blade
performance and operating weight.
One might think that such a
complex blade would be difficult to operate but it isn’t. The blade is
operated with an easy single lever and a push of a button. The blade is
angled by moving the lever right or left. To tilt the blade simply
press the “T” button on top of the lever.
The six in one blade
comes standard on the KX121-3 which will only be available for a limited
time. This model which uses a tier three engine is being replaced by
the KX040-4. So, get more for less while inventory lasts at Great
Plains Kubota.
